Special Needs for Fondwa, Haiti

Each month we have an envelope in our packet for Haiti supporting the work of Partners in Progress, a Pittsburgh based organization.

We help with the on going support for the Fatima House Orphanage and the Health Clinic in the rural area of Fondwa. They are grateful for the partnership they enjoy with St. James.

When Hurricane Matthew hit Haiti at the beginning of October, the convent where the Sisters of St. Antoine live in Fondwa was destroyed along with their chapel and crops. Many of the people in the region last their crops. This means they will face hunger in the months ahead.

Please use the Haiti envelope in November and be as generous as you can. Our help is needed now to help the Sisters with their housing needs and the people of Fondwa with the replanting of their crops.

Thank you for your on going generosity.
